125,945 foreign tourists came to Sri Lanka in the month of March alone, reviving the collapsed tourism industry.
Only 106,500 tourists visited the country in March 2022. Accordingly, the Tourism Development Authority states that there will be a significant increase in the arrival of tourists in March 2023.
The number of tourists who have come to Sri Lanka in the past 3 months is 335,679 people. The number of tourists who have come to Sri Lanka in the first 3 months of 2022 is 285334 people.
Thus, there has been an increase of 50,345 tourists in the first 3 months of 2023 compared to the first 3 months of 2022.
