The suitcase of a tourist was stolen in the Ella train

A suitcase belonging to a tourist from Doha Qatar, traveling to Ella by train was stolen yesterday.

The traveler made a complaint to the Diyathalawa Police that there were many valuable items, including cash worth more than Rs. 1 million, a laptop computer, etc., in the suitcase.

This tourist boarded the train from Hatton to travel to Ella.

Investigations have revealed that a person who boarded the train at Ohiya railway station became friendly with this foreigner and when he got off from Diyathalawa railway station, he ran away with the bag.
