Prof. Udith K. Jayasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of North Western University has been appointed as the Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture.
Agriculture Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said that the former secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Rohana Pushpakumara had resigned due to personal reasons.
Prof. Udith Jayasinghe is the third person to be appointed to the post within a period of three months.
