The admission of Covid patients to the Ayurvedic hospital system has officially started today (02).
It started at the Navinna Bandaranaike Memorial Ayurvedic Research Hospital which is full of 16 acres of local medicinal plants.
In the first phase, 100 Kovid patients will be treated and a special ward will be set up at the hospital for monks suffering from covid.
Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi was also present at the event which was inaugurated by the State Minister of Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural and Ayurvedic Hospitals Development and Public Health Sisira Jayakody.
