It has been decided to suspend the strike carried out by postal unions.
This decision was taken after the discussion held with the Ministry Secretary today (04).
Considering the transportation difficulties that have arisen due to the fuel crisis, the postal trade unions have been on strike since the 28th.
The postal department (28) had decided to keep the post offices and sub post offices on the island open only three days a week.
