Commercial level banks in the country have changed their opening hours.
It is after taking into account the current situation in the country.
Most banks have taken steps to keep them open only from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
State Banks such as People’s Bank and Bank of Ceylon will be open only from 8.30 am to 2 pm.
However, the date on which each bank will implement this measure will vary.
Relevant banks further urge their customers to resort to digital/ internet banking methods as much as possible.
