A meeting has taken place between the Leader of the JVP Anura Dissanayake and the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong.
It was held at the JVP head office this afternoon (02).
The economic crisis and the political situation in the country were discussed at this meeting.
Attention was also drawn to the development of cooperation between the parties.
Mr. Vijitha Herath, Publicity Secretary of the JVP and two political officials of the Chinese Embassy were also present on the occasion.
