Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage today remanded MPs Sanath Nishantha and Milan Jayatilleke, who were arrested by the CID in connection with the attack on Galle Face protesters, until the 25th of this month.
That was after the two were produced in court.
The Magistrate also directed the Commissioner General of Prisons to take care of the security of the two remanded members and to provide them with the necessary facilities to attend Parliamentary sessions.
