It has been decided to nominate two names from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya for the post of Deputy Speaker.
Accordingly, the name of the Member of Parliament for Ajith Rajapaksa is to be presented by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
The Samagi Jana Balawega has decided to propose the name of MP Rohini Kavirathna.
