Janaka Ratnayake, Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission (PUCSL) says that it is not fair to increase the electricity tariff at a time when there are power cuts.
However, he says that the revision of the electricity bill charges is currently being reviewed.
The Chairman further said that this review will be carried out on the report submitted regarding the revision of electricity bill charges and it will take about a month.
