The daily wage of Rs . 1000 will be paid to all estate workers starting from this month, Minister of Plantations Ramesh Pathirana told Parliament yesterday.
He said this while responding to an oral question raised by MP Waruna Liyanage in the House said all estate workers will get the new daily wage as legal clearance had been given.
