The Ceylon Electricity Board states that the generating processes of the Kelanitissa Power Plant were resumed this afternoon.
The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that the Kelanitissa power plant, which was out of order due to a shortage of fuel, was reactivated this afternoon as it received fuel.
Accordingly, the CEB states that the power cut may be limited or stopped.
However, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that they will have to cut off the power supply in the coming days if they don’t receive a sufficient supply of fuel for the days ahead.
