The Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage says that if any fertilizer provided by the government is used, compensation will be paid for crop damage.
He has also said today that the media has erroneously stated that all fertilizers provided by the government should be used in order to obtain compensation for crop damage.
On the 2nd, the Minister of Agriculture had stated that compensation would be paid only for those who used the 04 types of fertilizer provided by the government.
