Private hospitals are reportedly refusing to perform antigen tests to check for corona infection.
The Ministry of Health recently set a maximum price for PCR and Rapid Antigen testing andit is reported that private hospitals and private laboratories have stopped conducting antigen tests saying that antigen tests cannot be done at the given maximum price of Rs. 2,000.
As a result, patients with suspected symptoms expecting rapid antigen testings are undergoing a major problem, according to reports.
