The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) says it will issue a certificate to people who are seeking to travel abroad confirming that they have received the Covid vaccine.
The certificate will be issued online.
To obtain an electronic copy of the vaccination certificate, a request should be made to the email address of the Information and Communication Technology Agency.
The agency also says that the details of the National Identity Card, Passport and Vaccine Card should be submitted online to obtain an online certificate stating that the Covid vaccine has been obtained.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Technology Jayantha de Silva said that obtaining such a certificate through the online system is a great relief to the people.
