People suffering from non-communicable diseases can obtain medicines from clinics, said Dr. Vinaya Kumarapeli, Director Specialist, Non-Communicable Diseases Division, Ministry of Health.
Such patients can call 072 072 0720 or 072 060 6060 and bring home medicines, she said.
Non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, respiratory disease, kidney disease and cancer can be brought home from their respective clinics through the same phone numbers, she said.
