Weekly Antigen Tests for people over 60 years of age with Chronic Diseases

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has instructed the health sector to conduct antigen testing at least once a week targeting those over 60 years of age with chronic diseases.

He said this in a special statement addressed to the nation tonight.

“Most of the deaths from covid are over 60 years of age, most of them had chronic illnesses and those who have not been vaccinated. Therefore, I advise the health sector to conduct antigen testing at least once a week for people over 60 years of age with chronic diseases. ” The President said.
