It has been confirmed that MP Thilak Weerasinghe has also been infected with COVID and he is the 7th Member of Parliament to be infected with Covid this month.
Jaffna District MP Gajan Ponnambalam was diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus yesterday.
Former Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Minister of State Prasanna Ranaweera, Member of Parliament Dilip Wedaarachchi, Member of Parliament Rohana Dissanayake and Member of Parliament Janaka Tissakutty Arachchi are the other MPs infected with Covid this month.
