The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) says that frontline health workers should be given a third dose of the vaccine.
A significant number of frontline health workers who have received both doses of the vaccine have now become infected with COVID, said the Secretary of the Government Medical Officers’ Association, Dr. Chenal Fernando.
Therefore, a panel of experts should consider giving a third dose of the vaccine to the frontline health workers to control COVID, the Secretary said.
