National Minimum Wage Amendment Bill comes into force. That was with the signing of the Bill by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena today.
“I would like to inform you that as per Article 79 of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on August 16, 2021, I have certified the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Bill.” The Speaker announced in Parliament today.
