A Special Commodity Levy has been imposed on several items. This excise duty is effective for a period of one year starting from yesterday (12).
Accordingly, a kilo of sprats at Rs. 100, a kilo of dried fish at Rs. 100, a kilo of Uluhal seeds at Rs. 50, a kilo of Kurakkan flour at Rs. 150 and a kilo of mustard seeds at Rs. 62 will be taxed.
