Patients with corona infection do not need to be hospitalized just because they have symptoms, said Dr. Upul Dissanayake, a physiotherapist at the Colombo National Hospital.
Specialist Dr. Dissanayake said that patients with any type of COVID symptoms such as body aches, coughs, itchy throats, backaches and headaches do not need to be hospitalized just because of one or more of these symptoms.
However, if there is a severe difficulty in breathing and if there is excessive breathing, hospitalization is mandatory, said Dr. Upul Dissanayake.
