Veteran singer and gypsies band leader Sunil Perera is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit due to a Covid-19 infection, said his brother Piyal Perera.
He and several other artists have confirmed that the propaganda about him on social media is untrue.
They also say he is recovering.
