Wasantha Kumara Mudalige, the convener of the Inter-University Students Federation and Amila Sandeepa, the President of the Sri Jayewardenepura University Students’ Union have been remanded till the 11th.
The two have been remanded after being produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court today.
The two were arrested by the Thalangama Police this morning on several charges including blocking the road near the entrance to the Parliament, burning a coffin and damaging the road.
