A special investigation has been launched by the Government Analyst’s Department using manuscript examiners into the words “cause of my death” found on a wall of the room of Ishalini, who died in a fire at the residence of former minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
That is to confirm whether the note was kept by Ishalini who died in a fire. Several books stating that the deceased maid had been used during her school days have also been sent to the manuscript examiner.
Police Media Spokesman, Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the note was written in a way that gives a Tamil meaning to the English words.
