The leaders of the teachers’ unions say that they have made arrangements to come to Colombo in a motorcade from 4 areas next Wednesday demanding a solution to the salary anomaly of teachers and principals.
Accordingly, the motorcade will start from Dehiwala, Kadawatha, Kottawa and Mahabage areas at 10 am on Wednesday and will reach Colombo Fort and then proceed to the Presidential Secretariat.
The parade is organized by the Teachers-Principals Trade Union Alliance and representatives from more than 30 teachers’ unions will participate.
