MP Harin Fernando, who appeared before the CID a short while ago, and is being questioned now.
Harin is being investigated in connection with his statement that his father knew about the attack before the Easter attack and that he had told him not to go to church because of the attack, made at a press conference the day after the easter attack.
The CID had earlier obtained statements from MP Harin Fernando and his sister in this regard. Subsequently, the CID had obtained a telephone analysis report of MP Harin Fernando and her sister. According to the CID, he is being further questioned regarding the issues that arise from the investigations.
