The CID has launched an investigation into find whether a person deliberately worked to spread a quarantine disease violating the quarantine rules and violating the criteria issued by the Director General of Health Services to prevent the spread of Covid-19 disease.

At a time when the spread of the corona epidemic in Sri Lanka has not completely stopped, various groups are carrying out mass protests across the country in violation of the quarantine laws imposed in this regard.

As a result, the spread of the disease could continue to spread, disrupting the lives and health of the people and creating a serious health problem in the country. No one has the right to act in this manner.
