India won the first match of the three-match Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka by 38 runs tonight (25).
Batting first, India scored 164 for 5 in the allotted 20 overs.
Chasing a target of 165, Sri Lanka were all out for just 126 runs. Charith Asalanka scored 44 runs for Sri Lanka.
The next match will be played tomorrow (27) at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
