The West Indies Masters team secured a spot in the 2025 Masters League T20 final after defeating Sri Lanka last night.
Batting first, West Indies posted 179/5 in 20 overs, with Dinesh Ramdin scoring 50 off 22 balls and captain Brian Lara contributing 41 runs.
Sri Lanka, chasing the target, fell short, managing only 173/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Asela Gunaratne’s fighting 66 off 42 balls was not enough to secure victory.
The final will be played tomorrow between West Indies and India.
