Middeniya police have arrested three suspects, including a police constable, in connection with the fatal shooting of Anura Vidanagamage (known as “Kajja”), his daughter, and his son at the Kadewatta Junction in the Middeniya police division.
Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala made the announcement during a special statement in Parliament this morning (21).
The victims were shot and killed on the night of the 19th while traveling together. At the time of his murder, Anura idanagamage was facing multiple court cases, and he had previously claimed in a widely circulated YouTube interview that there was a political hand behind his legal troubles.
