A British national on a flight from Sydney, Australia, to Colombo was arrested early yesterday morning by the Katunayake Airport Police for attempting to open the aircraft’s emergency exit door mid-flight in a disruptive manner.
The suspect, identified as 34-year-old B.K. Scott, was taken into custody following the incident.
After being presented to the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court, the individual has been remanded until the 02nd of December.
