The first session of the 10th Parliament begins.
The new Speaker was elected by the Secretary General of the Parliament as usual this morning.
Later, all the MPs elected in the general election including the Prime Minister took oath here.
After taking the oath and signing the list of members, the new Speaker, the new House of Councilors and the President’s announcement were presented.
The House adjourned until 11.30 am today, when the President’s policy statement will be held next.
