The All Ceylon Egg Producers Association says that the retail price of an egg may decrease from 45 to 35 rupees.
The association informs that the price will be lowered by Monday and Tuesday of next week.
Earlier, the price of an egg had been reduced by 10 rupees, but again, the price had gone up quickly, exceeding the limit of 50 rupees.
