The latest report released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority shows that the total number of tourists who have come to Sri Lanka so far this year is 1,540,161.
In the first 13 days of October this year, 55,353 foreign tourists have come to Sri Lanka, of which 29.2% or 16,163 tourists have come from India.
Apart from this, 3,963 tourists from China, 3,926 from the United Kingdom and 3,469 from Germany have visited the country.
