In the next two weeks, the price of a kilo of chicken may decrease by 100 to 150 rupees, says the All Ceylon Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Association.
Mr. Niruksha Kumara, the president of the association stated that the retail price of a kilo of chicken meat is currently between 1000 and 1100 rupees.
Accordingly, in the next fortnight, this price may drop to a price between 900 and 850 rupees.
Mr. Niruksha Kumara also mentioned that the demand for chicken meat has decreased a lot.
