Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake says that applications for postal voting for the upcoming General Election will be accepted from today.
Accordingly, the general election is scheduled to be held on November 14.
The nomination period for the general election has been given from October 4th to October 11th at noon.
Arrangements have been made to hold the new parliamentary session on November 21.
