The Election Commission says that 3,820,738 registered voters did not vote in this year’s presidential election.
In the presidential election, it appears that the people are using their votes very fondly, but only 79.46% of the 17,140,354 registered voters have participated.
That is a total of 13,619,916 votes.
The Election Commission announced that 97.8% of these were valid votes, amounting to 13,319,616.
However, 300,300 votes were rejected, representing 2.2% of the total votes cast, the Election Commission said.
