The ninth Executive President Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake was sworn in today (23).
In the presence of Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya and the President’s Secretary, the new President took the oath as follows.
Born on November 24, 1966, Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake completed his primary education at Thambuttegama Primary School and higher education at Thambuttegama Central High School.
Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who attended Kelaniya University’s Faculty of Science after appearing in Advanced Level Mathematics, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1995.
