The Election Commission says that it is illegal for a candidate running for the upcoming presidential election to promote another candidate.
The commission said in a statement that it has received complaints so far.
Accordingly, the Election Commission says that if such campaign activities are carried out illegally against the instructions of the Election Commission, the candidate being promoted as well as the candidate promoting will be dealt with according to the election laws.
