Starting from the first day of next January, the initial salary of each grade in the public service will be adjusted in several phases.
For Office Work Assistants, the salary increase for Grade III will be Rs. 5,450. Grade II will see an increase of Rs. 8,760, and Grade I will receive an increase of Rs. 10,950. The Special Grade salary has been increased by Rs. 13,980.
For Drivers, the salary for Grade III will increase by Rs. 6,960. Grade II will see an increase of Rs. 9,990, and Grade I will receive an increase of Rs. 13,020. There will be a salary increase of Rs. 16,340 for the Special Grade.
Samurdhi Development Officers will see an increase of Rs. 8,340 for Grade III, Rs. 11,690 for Grade II, and Rs. 15,685 for Grade I.
For Management Assistants, the proposed salary increase is Rs. 10,140 for Grade III, Rs. 13,490 for Grade II, and Rs. 17,550 for Grade I.
Development Officers will see a salary increase of Rs. 12,710 for Grade III, Rs. 17,820 for Grade II, and Rs. 25,150 for Grade I.
For Public Health Inspectors and Family Health Nurses, the salary increase will be Rs. 12,885 for Grade III, Rs. 17,945 for Grade II, and Rs. 25,275 for Grade I.
Radiologists and Pharmacists will see a salary increase of Rs. 13,280 for Grade III, Rs. 18,310 for Grade II, and Rs. 25,720 for Grade I.
The proposed salary increase for Nursing Officers is Rs. 13,725 for Grade III, Rs. 18,835 for Grade II, and Rs. 26,165 for Grade I.
For Principals, the salary increase will be Rs. 23,425 for Grade III, Rs. 29,935 for Grade II, and Rs. 39,595 for Grade I.
College teachers in the teaching service will see a salary increase of Rs. 17,480. Graduate teachers will receive an increase of Rs. 19,055. The second-grade salary increase is Rs. 20,425, and for the first grade, it is Rs. 38,020.
The proposed salary increase for a Police Constable is Rs. 10,704, for a Police Sergeant it is Rs. 13,210, and for Sub-Inspectors, it is Rs. 14,050. Police Inspectors will see an increase of Rs. 18,290, while Chief Police Inspectors will receive Rs. 23,685.
For Village Officials, the salary increase is Rs. 11,340 for Grade III, Rs. 14,690 for Grade II, and Rs. 18,750 for Grade I.
The salary for Administrative Village Officers will increase by Rs. 23,575.
Assistant Secretaries, Assistant Directors, Accountants, Assistant Home Secretaries, and Assistant Commissioners will see an increase of Rs. 28,885.
The initial salary of Deputy Directors and Deputy Commissioners is proposed to increase by Rs. 43,865.
The salary for Divisional Secretaries, Directors, Commissioners, and Senior Assistant Secretaries will increase by Rs. 57,545.
Primary Doctors will see a salary increase of Rs. 35,560. The proposed salary increase for second-grade doctors is Rs. 39,575, and for first-grade doctors, it is Rs. 53,075.
The salary of Additional Secretaries and Specialist Doctors is proposed to increase by Rs. 70,200.
Simultaneously, steps have been taken to double all salary increment values.
Additionally, government corporations, boards, and statutory bodies have made arrangements to increase salaries for universities and the armed forces starting from January 1 next year.
