The Mahinda College Past Prefects’ Association will hold its Annual General Meeting and get-together on Saturday, the 17th, at 6 p.m. at the Mount Rich Hotel in Rumassala.
Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, a former Sri Lanka ambassador to Russia and a patron of the association, will deliver a special keynote address.
The event will also honor long-serving Deputy Principal Mr. P.K. Gilbert and teacher Mrs. Wasantha Liyanage, both of whom have dedicated years of service to Mahinda College.
The gathering will be attended by the Principal, Mr. Janaka Peduruhewa, the Master-in-Charge of the Prefect Board, current Senior Prefects, and numerous distinguished past prefects.
