The PAFFREL organization says that it has received 45 complaints regarding violations of the election laws related to this year’s presidential election.
Its Executive Director Mr. Rohana Hettiarachchi stated that the majority of complaints have been reported regarding abuse of state power.
In the meantime, the Commission has mentioned that it is important to change the national identity cards of individuals every five years to prevent election corruption.
