The Sri Lanka Cricket Institute has awarded a prize of 500,000 US dollars for the excellent performance of the Sri Lanka women’s cricket team in winning the 2024 Asia Cup.
It is 15 crores in Sri Lanka currency.
The prize was awarded to the captain Chamari Athapattu on behalf of the team at a ceremony presided over by Sports Minister Mr. Harin Fernando.
