Tourists from 93 countries including Sri Lanka have been allowed to enter Thailand without a visa from today (15).
Accordingly, this is the first time that Sri Lankans are allowed to go to Thailand without a visa.
Under the new policy announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Thailand, a tourist will be able to stay in the country without a visa for a period of 60 days.
Tourists entering Thailand without a visa must have accommodation funds and proof of return.
It is also mandatory to obtain the approval of the country’s immigration officials.
