The government has taken steps to increase the allowances for evaluation of the answer sheets of the GCE O/L and Grade 5 scholarship examinations.
Yesterday (09) the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Cabinet Memorandum submitted by the Ministry of Education as per the recommendation of the Sub-Committee with the Examination Department.
Accordingly, this increased allowance will be given to the teachers who evaluate the answer sheets in the future.
