Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara says that the Sri Lankan youth who are looking to go for agricultural jobs in Israel have the opportunity to go for job opportunities in the hotel, industrial, construction and infrastructure sectors of the country based on their skills.
Regarding that and the problems that some are questioning that have arisen in the agricultural jobs in Israel, the minister answered as follows.
Meanwhile, the “Jayagamu Sri Lanka Public Mobile Service” aimed at empowering Sri Lankan workers by equipping them with the skills and tools needed to thrive in the digital workforce will be held on July 5th and 6th at the Hakmana Danny Abeywickrama Stadium.
This program headed by the Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara has been held in several districts so far.
Helping job seekers and employed people alike, the “Jayagamu Sri Lanka” program works with leading organizations such as the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau, Shrama Wasana Fund, Garusaru, Smart Youth Club and Migrant Worker program to provide awards that directly benefit the public welfare.
Students from low-income families are given smart boards and educational equipment to schools and “Jayagamu Sri Lanka” not only contributes to community welfare and improves career prospects, but also fosters an entrepreneurial mindset among low-income families and migrant workers and provides opportunities to build a better future.
