The circular has been issued to increase the monthly allowance of government executive officers by 10,000 rupees with effect from July 1.
It was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs and Local Government.
Accordingly, the total allowance of those officers will be raised from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000.
However, the Joint Committee representing Government Executives regretted that the hike did not fully meet their demands.
