The Ministry of Technology and the Ministry of Education have jointly planned to implement a program to introduce digital technology for Piriven education.
It is the government’s view that through this, Piriven-related teachers and monks/lay students will be able to use digital technology to explore and analyze the Sri Lankan national Buddhist heritage.
Accordingly, arrangements will be made to provide at least two computers, a smart board and a printer for each Piriven.
Yesterday, the cabinet of Ministers approved the joint proposal presented by the President as the Minister of Technology and the Minister of Education to implement the program.
