Namal Rajapaksa, national organizer of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, says that if a presidential candidate is nominated from his party, then only one who can advance the policies of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna and protect those policies will be nominated.
Namal Rajapaksa also said that no alliance will be made with those who come only to participate in voting from SLPP and who have now gone separate ways after competing in voting from SLPP.
Namal Rajapaksa added that a group of people from the President’s camp says that it is not possible to go with SLPP and win, so they can leave SLPP and join that group.
